How do I apply?
Qualified applicants need to create an online profile account by following these steps:
- Create a unique user ID, password, and profile
- Submit an online job application
- Upload a résumé
Use this profile to:
- Track the status for positions applied for
- Save search criteria
- Set up e-mail notifications for new postings matching search criteria
Can I submit a résumé and cover letter or is a completed application required to be considered for a position?
The WEA Trust requires ALL qualified applicants to apply through the online candidate portal at https://careers-weatrust.icims.com/jobs/intro?hashed=0
To register, complete a brief application and upload your resume. Some positions may request additional information.
Instructions will be e-mailed to selected candidates for any additional information needed prior to interviewing.
How long is my résumé or application kept on file?
Applicant résumés and applications are stored in your online candidate profile. Accounts inactive for over a year may be deleted.
Please keep your résumé, contact, and other profile information updated through the online candidate portal as needed.
What can I expect during the recruitment process?
The WEA Trust recruitment process ensures that our decision to make an employment offer and your decision to accept our offer will be mutually beneficial. We generally follow these steps:
- Candidates apply online using the WEA Trust's candidate portal: http://www.weatrust.com/wea/weamain.nsf/jobopps. (link to icims)
- Candidates:
- Create a unique user ID, password, and profile
- Submit an online job application
- Upload a résumé
- Track the status for positions applied for
- Save search criteria
- Set up e-mail notifications for new postings matching search criteria
- The WEA Trust will contact qualified candidates by phone within three weeks to schedule an interview. Non-qualified candidates will be notified by e-mail.
- Qualified candidates will be asked to provide additional information. Instructions will be sent via e-mail.
- Candidates may also be asked to complete a work sample exercise. This contains questions and problems directly related to experience, skills, and abilities required for the position. Depending on content, expect one to two hours to complete the exercise.
- Successful candidates may be invited to interview with the hiring supervisor.
- Employment references and background checks are completed for the selected candidate.
- The final offer will be made verbally, by phone, and confirmed by letter.
Are there opportunities for advancement at the WEA Trust?
Nearly all new or vacant positions are first announced internally. This provides current employees the opportunity to be considered for promotions and transfers.
Does the WEA Trust support continuing education of its employees?
Yes. There are several ways for employees to further their development and stay current in their field or within the industry. We also provide tuition reimbursement.
