The WEA Trust offers 5 health plans.
- Preferred Provider Plan (Trust Preferred)
- Offers members access to a broad array of physicians, clinics, and hospitals through a single statewide Network. Using Network providers, members receive the maximum reimbursement amount available.
- Point of Service Plan
- Members decide where to receive services each time medical care is needed. Payment levels are determined by how the medical services are accessed.
- Front-End Deductible Plan
- All covered services are subject to deductible and coinsurance amounts. The reasonable and customary cost of covered services, less deductible and coinsurance amounts, is reimbursed.
- WEA-MedPlus Plan
- An alternate health insurance plan for retirees and spouses who are 65 and older. This plan coordinates comprehensive medical benefits with Medicare's primary coverage.
- Conversion Plan
- Available ONLY to individuals who are no longer eligible for a WEA Trust employer-sponsored group health insurance plan or whose legally mandated continuation coverage (COBRA) has ended.
