Plan for a healthy baby and pregnancy
Expectant parents have so many questions about pregnancy, childbirth, and care for a newborn. You can have a place to turn to for answers to your questions when you enroll in WEA Trust Club Mom.
Our maternity education program connects you with a maternity nurse who is experienced working with expectant parents.
After you enroll, you'll also receive the following:
- Educational materials about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and preventing complications of pregnancy.
- "Your Pregnancy and Birth," a comprehensive pregnancy guide.
- A $50 savings bond in your baby's name after his or her birth if you enroll during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy and complete the program.
Can I participate?
The maternity education program is available to any pregnant Trust health plan member with the Trust as their primary insurer.
When should I enroll?
You can sign up at any time during your pregnancy; however, it is best to enroll early and complete the first maternity health assessment that will help determine if your pregnancy is high-risk. Although most complications of pregnancy are manageable, the earlier a problem is identified, the more successfully it can be treated.
