Question:	What is a Benefit Period?
Answer:	It is the 12-month period of time (e.g., May 1 to April 30) during which benefits are calculated for your plan's yearly maximums. Your Benefit Period is specified on your Benefit Summary. It is also printed in the lower right hand corner of every Explanation of Benefits form you receive. As a reminder, each school chooses their own Benefit Period.
