Employment FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Question:
What can I expect during the recruitment process?
Answer:
Each company has its own way of recruiting, and the WEA Trust is no different. Our recruitment process ensures that our decision to make an employment offer and your decision to accept our offer will be mutually beneficial. Below are the steps we generally follow when recruiting for a position.
Once you submit your cover letter and résumé online you will receive an electronic e-mail auto-response to verify we received your information. (We prefer to contact you at the time you submit your application rather than wait to notify you of your status at end of the recruitment process.)
If we are interested in talking with you further about the position, we will contact you by phone within three weeks to schedule an interview.
Qualified candidates may also be invited to take a work sample exercise. The work sample exercise contains questions and problems directly related to the experience, skills, and abilities required for the position. Depending on content, qualified candidates are allowed one to two hours to complete the work sample exercise.
After the work sample exercise, qualified candidates may be invited to interview with the hiring supervisor.
Once a selection has been made, employment references and background checks are completed, and the final offer will be made verbally and confirmed by letter.
