| Plan for a healthy pregnancy with WEA Trust Club Mom |
To help you prepare for a healthy pregnancy and childbirth, the Trust offers a maternity education program called WEA Trust Club Mom.
With this telephone-based program, expectant moms can get help directly from a Trust obstetric or neonatal nurse specializing in childbirth education. This support can touch on a variety of topics, including health risks, nutrition, physical activity, preparing for the birth process, and caring for an infant.
When members enroll in WEA Trust Club Mom, they'll receive the following:
- Risk assessments tailored to specific stages of pregnancy.
- A packet of educational materials, including "Your Pregnancy and Birth, " a comprehensive guide to pregnancy and newborn care written by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- A $50 savings bond for the infant if the member enrolls by the 20th week of pregnancy and completes the program.
Mothers-to-be can enroll in the program online or by calling (800) 279-4000, Extension 8821 during regular business hours.
