Flu vaccinations
To make it easy to get a flu shot, the Trust sponsors flu vaccination clinics for school districts that participate in our health plan.
Why should I get vaccinated?
- Reduces your risk of getting the flu.
- Lessens your chances of developing serious complications if you do get the flu -- approximately 36,000 adults die each year in the United States from influenza.
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests that anyone who works in an institutional setting, such as a school or college, should consider being vaccinated.
Can I participate?
The flu vaccination program is open to WEA Trust health plan members, spouses, and retirees.
