Payment of benefits
The following is a brief summary of how your long term disability benefits are paid:
- Benefits are paid monthly after satisfaction of the Elimination Period.
- Benefits are paid on a contract day method.
- Benefits are reduced by other sources of income you are eligible to receive.
- Benefits are paid for disability resulting from an injury or sickness.
- Benefits are paid throughout any one continuous period of disability up to the maximum of the plan if all policy provisions are satisfied.
- Benefits payable, between all sources, will not exceed the insured percentage of your covered salary.
