Asthma care

Learn how to live a healthy life and keep your asthma in check by enrolling in our adult asthma program. When you participate, you will work one-on-one with a registered nurse from the Trust who can:
- Help you understand what triggers your asthma.
- Give you suggestions on how to talk to your doctor about your care.
- Work with your health care provider to ensure your care is consistent with nationally recommended treatment standards.
- Talk to you about how to monitor your asthma and detect problems before they become serious.
- Explain how eating and exercise affect asthma.
- Answer your questions about medications.
- Provide you with a free peak flow meter.
- Help you develop an action plan.
Can I participate?
To be eligible for this program, you must be 18 to 64 years old with asthma and have a WEA Trust health plan as your primary insurer.
