There are many features and benefits to the WEA Trust Individual Long Term Care (LTC) Plan. We would like to highlight two unique features that we believe set our policy apart from other plans.

Credit toward the WEA Trust Group LTC Plan paid-up feature
The WEA Trust Group LTC Plan is available for purchase by employers that have a bargaining agent affiliated with the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC).

The group plan provides an opportunity to qualify for paid-up long term care insurance. This means that if certain conditions are met, group plan coverage will continue until death without further premium payments.

You can accrue credit toward the paid-up feature of a group plan, pursuant to the provisions of the policy, in the event you become eligible for, and are enrolled in, such a group plan after you have been covered under this plan at the required minimum daily benefit for at least one month.

Note: The group plan has its own criteria for eligiblity, and being covered by this policy does not satisfy those criteria or guarantee that you will meet the eligibility criteria of the group plan.

Spouse/domestic partner discount
If both you and your spouse or domestic partner are issued a WEA Trust Individual LTC Plan, each of you will receive a 20% discount on your individual LTC premiums.
