Self-care: what to do when you aren't feeling well
- Consult your self-care book or the Caremark Online Medical Guide. These resources will give you information on your condition or symtoms and help you determine what steps you should take.
- Call your health care provider. It's important to establish a strong relationship with your doctor and work closely with him or her. When you have questions about your health, contact your doctor's office to get their input. Even if it's after hours, you can often get in touch with a doctor on call.
- Call a nurse line. The nurse lines listed below are available around-the-clock and can help with questions and concerns about your health symptoms or medical conditions.
